Newcastle Racecourse gears up for its biggest ever event this summer with JenningsBet

The North East is set to host its biggest racing event ever, as JenningsBet brings the Northumberland Plate Festival to Newcastle Racecourse. 

The three-day weekend event will be jam-packed with exciting races as well as unforgettable entertainment, unlike anything Newcastle Racecourse has ever seen before.

The festival promises to deliver an experience which is steeped in rich heritage, first-class hospitality and iconic entertainment.

As part of the festival, there will be the JenningsBet Northumberland Plate Day, which will trace the roots of Newcastle’s racing heritage and will take place on the final day.

Ahead of the big finale day, the festival will kick off with the Seaton Delaval Handicap Stakes, before the Gosforth Park Cup Night the following day. 

Newcastle Racecourse is known for bringing iconic entertainers to their stage, and for this special event they have a whole host of exciting entertainment to look forward to.

Confirmed performers include the legendary ska band Madness, who are known for their huge hits such as Baggy Trousers and House of Fun, as well as Hacienda Classical which will feature DJ Graeme Park, Mike Pickering and orchestra conductor Tim Crooks.

“It is our most prestigious racing fixture of the year and with Madness performing on the Friday night followed by Hacienda Classical on Saturday, it’s going to be three memorable days. With legendary performers, first-class racing, and an unbeatable atmosphere, this year’s Northumberland Plate Festival will be one of the sporting highlights of the summer. . As ever, tickets and hospitality packages are already selling well, so we encourage our customers to book sooner rather than later.”

Newcastle Racecourse has unveiled an array of tickets and hospitality packages, designed to cater to every preference and group sizes.

To ensure value for money and accessibility for all, Newcastle Racecourse are offering their lowest ticket prices, with General Admission tickets for the Saturday event starting from £37.50. 

The exclusive Centre Course VIP Enclosure is a brand-new package which is priced at only £96 per person.

Another brand-new debut will be the Park View Restaurant, which for £299 per person, guests can enjoy a luxurious three-course meal while enjoying the best views of the racecourse.
