Staff members, Ashleigh Simpson and Kat Harvey showed their loyalty when they decided to get matching tattoos of their company’s logo.
On a work trip to Krakow, the pair, who work for stag and hen organisers Last Night of Freedom which is based in Gateshead, decided to spend £30 on getting the logo tattooed onto their legs.
Their boss, managing director Matt Mavir said that he was stunned yet touched by the tattoos, while Ashleigh and Kat have shown no signs of regret and are “chuffed” by the outcome.
Matt said: “It was a genuinely lovely touch. They are both awesome workers, and thankfully, this will probably make it harder for them to ever leave us!”
Ashleigh said: “We both went away knowing we’d end up with a tattoo, and after spending an hour thinking about what to get, we spotted Last Night of Freedom’s logo – as it was a work trip, we thought why not get branded.
“Some of the faces from colleagues were a picture. There were a few shocked faces around the office, but we’ve been called legends. It’s all light-hearted fun here.”
Ashleigh already has six tattoos, explaining that a new addition did not faze her at all. She also explained that the new tattoo actually holds a special place in her heart.
Last Night of Freedom is the UK’s leading stag and hen organisers, they send their customers to destinations across Europe to celebrate their pre-wedding nights out.
Ashleigh and Kat were in Krakow for work purposes, but had such a good time that they wanted a permanent reminder of the amazing trip.
Kat said of the decision to get tattooed: “The trip was unreal, and we just thought why not as we will always remember it.
“Getting the work logo may raise a few eyebrows but your job is a big part of your life and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon, we all love working here – it never really feels like work.
A video of the girls being tattooed was uploaded to the Last Night of Freedom Instagram account, with one follower commenting that they both should be made employee of the month.
