But for now, he is already making huge moves in the music industry, supporting a former One Direction member on tour.

The man in question is 22-year-old singer-songwriter, Andrew Cushin from Newcastle, who will be supporting Louis Tomlinson of One Direction fame on a sold-out show at the Shepherd Bush Empire in London.

But this is not Cushin’s first time supporting a big star, as he supported former member of 90s Britpop band Oasis, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, at Newcastle’s Town Moor.

Cushion also had his own sold-out show at the new Newcastle venue on Westgate Road, NX. He posted his gratitude and amazement at selling out a show in his hometown on Instagram, the day after the gig. He wrote: “I haven’t got the words to tell you how I’m feeling.” He added: “I’m completely overwhelmed.”

In an interview with ITV Tyne Tees, Cushin spoke about the upcoming Louis Tomlinson show, which takes place tonight. “I’ve been given this amazing opportunity and I just want to graft now.”

In an incredibly impressive year, Cushin also released his own single under The Libertines’ Pete Doherty’s label. He has supported The Jam’s Paul Weller, and toured around Europe. But a special moment for the Newcastle United fan, was performing on the pitch at Newcastle United football stadium, St James’ Park.
