Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer to host special evening at Tyne Theatre and Opera House

Newcastle united legend and TV pundit, Alan Shearer will be hosting a special evening at Tyne Theatre and Opera House this November.

The 52-year-old former football player from Newcastle, is highly regarded among Newcastle United fans as a ‘legend’, due to his football career and time at the club which he was captain in 1996.

Now, Alan will be back in Newcastle for a special evening at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House on Thursday, November 23.

The show will begin at 8pm, where Alan will take a trip down memory lane as he explains his rise to fame and how he became one of the greatest football players of all time.

On the Tyne Theatre and Opera House website, they describe the evening by writing: Alan is one of the best players England has ever produced and was a fans favourite throughout his career.

“Listen how Alan came from a working-class family to become a true footballing legend, role model to the younger generation and a respected ambassador of the game.

“This exclusive show will see a 2 part live and unscripted interview with Alan Shearer, reminiscing about those glorious football memories old and new and get a real life insight to one of the best players to ever light up the football world. Who knows what will happen when Alan Shearer takes to the stage to give you his ‘off camera’ stories.”

There are a range of options available when it comes to booking tickets. Usual tickets for a seat at the show are priced at £42.50 but VIP options are also available.

The Superstar Platinum Package which is priced at £303.50 includes premier seating in the platinum section, a meet and greet with Alan Shearer which will include an autograph from the Newcastle United legend, a professional photo with him, and a signed shirt.

The Superstar Gold Package also includes priority seating (in the gold section) and a meet and greet with Alan Shearer for the professional photo.

The photos will be professionally taken by Superstar Photography, with 6x9 print developed right away for you to take home, as well as being made available digitally after the show and published on the Superstar Photography Facebook page.
