Newcastle United player Kieran Trippier celebrates Haribo-themed birthday

Fans of Newcastle United player Kieran Trippier, were given an insight into his favourite treats, as his wife shared video and photos of his sweet-themed birthday.

Charlotte Trippier, who has been married to Kieran since June 2016, shared footage to her social media page of  party decorations and sweet treats from Kieran’s 33rd birthday, which he celebrated on Tuesday, September 19.

Sharing a video of a big blue balloon which read: “Happy Birthday Kieran”, as well as balloons made to look like cherries and eggs, Charlotte wrote: “What’s the theme?”, before revealing that the birthday decorations were Haribo sweets themed.

Charlotte then showcased an extravagant cake, which was also blue, with Kieran’s name written in gold foil lettering, with Haribo sweets placed upon and around it.

However, Charlotte ensured that Kieran’s teammates at Newcastle United got a taste of the sweet treats as she showed Haribo decorated biscuits, alongside a caption that read:  “Treats for the team and staff”, alongside two heart emojis in black and white.

Charlotte is always willing to shout out the businesses she buys from, so she made sure to mention that the balloon decorations were courtesy of North East balloon company, Balloon-ilicious, and the cake and biscuits were made by Newcastle-based baker, Cute as Cakes, who has also made a birthday cake for fellow Newcastle United WAG Alexia Notto previously.

Charlotte also shared photos from Newcastle United’s away match against AC Milan, which took place on Kieran’s birthday, of her and the couple’s young son exploring the city, watching the game from the sidelines, and travelling by plane.
