Since he landed on Tyneside, Sandro Tonali has been exploring his new home- often being spotted out and about.

So far he’s been spotted in Tynemouth, Italian restaurants and bars, but nothing could prepare Newcastle United fans for where he’d pop up next.

Newcastle United fans had to wait just six minutes for Sandro Tonali to get off the mark for his new club and he was instrumental in his side’s 5-1 win over Aston Villa. Last night, the Italian was photographed in the Job Bullman in Gosforth which sent social media into a frenzy.

One fan hilariously said: ‘This very much feels like Sandro Tonali has asked his teammates for restaurant recommendations and they’ve told him that Spoons is the height of sophistication,’ while another commented: ‘“Three small plates for £14.93 please, all Pizza”’

Whether he was tricked, genuinely intrigued or just happened to notice the Wetherspoons, Tonali seems to be settling into North East life well.
