Newcastle United star’s family fly to the United States - to meet Lionel Messi

Whilst Newcastle United’s players train to get ready for the 23/24 season, their loved ones are still very much enjoying their summers with enviable trips and holidays.

And none more so than Alexia Notto, the wife of Miguel Almiron.

With Almiron back in his old stomping ground of Atlanta for the Premier League’s USA Summer Series, the opportunity has presented itself for Alexia to explore America once again, with Miami only a short plane ride away from her former home.

So while Almiron was preparing for Sunday night’s friendly against Aston Villa, his wife and son were in the Florida city watching Lionel Messi’s debut for Miami alongside some incredibly famous faces.

Posting to her 270k Instagram followers, Alexia shared photos of her with David and Victoria Beckham on the pitch after Messi’s free kick secured the win for his new club. Beckham owns over 30% of Inter Miami.

But the fun didn’t stop there. Amazingly, Alexia found her way into the changing room where Messi himself posed for an adorable photo with Miggy’s son.

And to round the whole night off, Alexia reunited with Miggy’s old Atlanta teammate Josef Martínez to recreate their iconic celebration from his MLS days, calling him ‘Uncle Josef’.

Uncle Josef now plays alongside Messi at Miami.
