We asked the people of Newcastle to show us their pets dressed up in festive outfits.

It’s nearly Christmas! The big day is just over a week away, and the people of Newcastle are fully in the spirit of Christmas, celebrating with their loved ones, including their furry friends!

But why should the humans be the only ones in the cute Christmas jumpers? There are plenty of shops that stock pet outfits, and at Christmas you are sure to bag your pet a festive outfit!

We have five of the cutest pets from in and around Newcastle, dressed in their finest Christmas attire. Get ready for a cuteness overload!

Bailey | Lauren Atkins

This is Bailey, a 1-year-old Labrador. The gorgeous pooch is posing in a Santa Claus outfit in front of his owner Lauren’s tree.

It seems Labradors really loved dressing up for Christmas as here we have another! This is 2-year-old Bruce, wearing what seems to be his very own Christmas jumper in the home of owner Lana.

Next up, we have two cat pals dressed up in Christmas outfits! On the left, we have Victor, a 2-year-old Sphynx. On the right, Nooch, a 3-year-old Maine Coon crossbreed. Victor’s Christmas jumper has reindeer antlers, while Nooch seemed to be wearing a Santa suit jumper.
