The comedy gala named Tyne To Stand Up, which is now in its third year, will raise funds and awareness for Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland, with proceeds from ticket sales going directly to the charity.

Hosted by BBC’s Casualty actress and North East comedian Sammy Dobson, the gala will perform a one-night-only show on Tuesday, July 2 at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House.
