Newcastle’s Mother Mercy officially opens its brand new bar following a relocation at Fenwick
The popular Mother Mercy cocktail bar has officially opened its brand new location within the Fenwick department store, in Newcastle city centre.
Following the success of the bar’s pop-up venue on the Lower Ground Floor, where it has been located since December 2022, the new bar is located adjacent to Mulberry and COS on Fenwick’s Level 1 (Womenswear).

Seating is available around the bar as well as featuring additional tables for guests to relax and enjoy a cocktail whilst out shopping.

Since launching its original basement bar on Newcastle’s Cloth Market in 2019, Mother Mercy now has four permanent venues across the North East, including its original location.
The rest of the bar’s portfolio includes the Sheepfolds Stables in Sunderland, Cafe Mercy on Newcastle’s Grey Street, and now the relocated Fenwick bar.
