42-year-old Markle, who married Prince Harry in 2018, has recently revealed that she is launching a brand-new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, with her first product being a luxury strawberry jam.

The topic of Markle’s new venture was explored in an interview on Talk TV, where presenter JJ Anisiobi confronted Levin regarding her opinions on Markle.

During the interview, Levin called promotional photos for Markle’s lifestyle brand “ridiculous”, and when Anisiobi challenged this, Levin replied: “You’re here to fight me so why don’t you say goodbye?” Shortly after, Levin left the interview abruptly.

Welch also retweeted a post which shared the interview clip, where the original poster wrote: “At some point, we need to discuss how and why we’ve allowed figures such as Angela Levin to just make a career out of hate”

Welch has defended Markle in the past, against former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan.
