Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service

Shortly after 8pm on Monday, we were alerted by Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service to a fire at a property on Nile Street.

A subsequent assessment has ruled the building is not safe to enter, and a closure notice is now in place.

This means it would be a criminal offence for anyone to attempt to gain entry to the property.
