Tipi at the Tempus has opened to the public at Northumberland’s Charlton Hall. 

A Northumberland countryside estate has unveiled a brand-new tipi, offering a laidback alfresco dining experience. 

Charlton Hall Estate, which is located in rural Northumberland, are launching the enchanting and cosy new experience for their guests, named Tipi at the Tempus.

The tipi, which has a rustic bar and open fires has officially opened to the public to celebrate the hotel’s first anniversary, offering live music, food, drinks and much more.

The family and dog friendly venue will also be available for private parties and events. 

The food options available will include wood-fired pizzas and garlic breads, as well as menus curated by guest vendors on dedicated special food nights.

The tipi also boasts an extensive drinks menu, which will include cocktails, wines, beers and more.

Live music from talented local musicians will be performed every weekend, with artists being announced via The Tempus’ social media pages.

Richard Shell, owner of The Doxford Group, who operate Tipi at the Tempus said: “We’re thrilled to open The Tipi at The Tempus, where everyone is welcome to enjoy our laid back, alfresco dining and drinking in the grounds of The Tempus hotel, where we’ll also be hosting live music. 

“The tipi creates a new dimension to what we already offer our guests, tourists, and locals, and we’re super excited to welcome everyone to come and enjoy the estate.”
