NTAs: Ant and Dec win presenting awards at National Television Awards for 23rd consecutive year
For the 23rd year in a row, Ant and Dec have been awarded the National Television Award for Best Presenter.
The Geordie duo first appeared on screens across the nation during their time on the early seasons of Byker Grove have have become two of the leading faces of UK television thanks to their roles on reality TV shows such as The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

Hide AdCelebrating their award, the pair took to the stage, saying: “Thank you very much, what can we say.


“"Thank you - it's really hard to put into words just how this feels and what it means to us that you take the time to vote for us."
Saying it was “a joy” to win again, and after thanking their partners and claiming they will take some time off following the win, their pair added “Thank you to the Toon” before Decland Donnelly added “Thanks to Eddie Howe - love you!”

Hide AdThis wasn’t the only success for the pair on the night. Alongside their presenting award, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here won the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award.
Elsewhere, the comedy award went to Mrs Browns Boys while Mr Bates vs The Post Office won the night’s Impact Award.
Other awards went to The Traitors for Best Reality Competition, Emmerdale for Serial Drama and Strictly Come Dancing for the top Talent Show award.
