Sam Roberts, founder of Tapyard Studios, relocated from Leeds to Newcastle to open the venue, citing the city's thriving music scene as a key factor in choosing the location.
"The city's sense of togetherness and its enthusiastic embrace of music made it an irresistible choice," said Roberts. "Music is absolutely at the heart of the operation."
"We're committed to being among the best venues in the country."
