They will be joined by Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and ex-Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli, who is the latest addition to the judging panel.

A new sketch sees the pair wake in bed to their alarm clock sounding before they head out of the door with a boombox into a Union Jack-lined street filled with dancers.

The pair then join in with a rendition of ‘Havin’ A Party’ with a postman, street cleaner and school children as they make their way through the streets.

The sketch ends with Ant and Dec arriving at the BGT auditions in a taxi and Dec waking up, thinking it was all just a dream.

It comes as the hilarious duo revealed they had played mischievous pranks on the new Britain’s Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli.

They admitted to giving Bruno, 67, different rules to confuse him and said he could use the golden buzzer whenever he liked.

“We, quite mischievously, kept telling him different rules,” Dec Donnelly said in an interview.

“So when he hit his golden buzzer on the first session of the first day, mid-way through an act, we told him not to worry because he had another golden buzzer tomorrow, and that he had one every day.

“We also played a prank on the rest of the judges by going into their room and doing a BGT quiz, but secretly gave Bruno all the answers in advance. That was quite fun to see the look on everyone else’s face.”

They also made a savage joke about Simon Cowell’s new appearance after fans said he looked “unrecognisable”.

The pair appeared at a press interview ahead of the latest series, where they introduced the judges.

Dec told the audience: “We have a new face joining the judging panel.” To which Ant quipped in reply: “What? Simon has a new face?”

The media mogul has sparked concern with his noticeably different facial features.

Britain’s Got Talent series 16 starts on Saturday 15 April on ITV1 at 8 pm.
