Perrie Edwards cheered on her footballer fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain during his last game at Liverpool on Saturday. The Little Mix singer, 29, from Newcastle, joined the footballer on the pitch at Anfield with their 18 month old son Axel, for a lap of honour as he marked the end of his career at the club.

Perrie wore a cream cardigan which she matched with a pair of white flared trousers. She completed the casual outfit with a pair of sliders, and some dark brown sunglasses. The blonde beauty opted for her hair in loose waves for the occasion.

Perrie and Alex have been together for six years and got engaged in June last year after the Liverpool star, 29, from Portsmouth, popped the question. The couple share son Axel, who was born in August 2021. During a recent interview with Grazia, Perrie opened up about the struggles of juggling motherhood, a career, and planning a wedding all at the same time.

“There’s so much going on right now,” explained Perrie. “I’m in the studio, whilst also having my fiancée being like, ‘When are we going to start planning the wedding?’ Again, it’s like starting a business!” She continued: “Where do you even start with a wedding? It’s a lot. We spoke about it whilst we were on holiday, and I’ve got a really good idea of what I want now.”

Whilst an official date has not been revealed, Alex and Perrie confirmed that they had begun planning their big day after returning home from a trip to Los Angeles, California, where they reunited with Little Mix bandmate, Jade Thirwell, 30.

Earlier this month Perrie teamed up with a mental health charity to launch a new campaign after opening up about her own struggles. The partnership with Better Help intends to make therapy accessible and break the stigma around mental health.

The singer has previously been very open about her struggles with crippling anxiety, which left her “feeling like she would die” if she was left alone. Her anxiety became so bad that she was terrified of leaving the house and would suffer panic attacks in public. The star feared not being able to perform and to meet fans due to her condition.
