Little Mix member Perrie Edwards took to Instagram stories to share a video seemingly mocking a viral Instagram video.

In the video, we see Perrie’s mam, Debbie singing the beginning of the 2006 hit Crazy by Gnarls Barkley, as Perrie laughed along behind the camera.

This comes after a video of two singers covering the song went viral. The original TikTok was posted by a singer who goes by the name NatalieJaneSings on TikTok. A trend began known as the ‘crazy riff challenge’, where other TikTok users also attempt to achieve the musical riff from the cover, or completely mock the original video.

Perrie captioned the Instagram story video: “Can you tell me and debs have been in a TikTok hole”, while Debbie attempts the riff much to the humour of Perrie who comments that she is singing the wrong words. “That’s a tongue-twisting song that,” Debbie comments, and exclaims that she hates the song.

Perrie is usually quite quiet on social media with her last post being from October 29. The carousel post of images and videos showed Perrie, her fiance footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and their child, Axel at a pumpkin patch ahead of Halloween. Perrie is currently working on her first solo music since Little Mix disbanded earlier this year.
