A well known Italian restaurant chain are looking to help Newcastle residents beat the January blues with a deal on pizza.

Pizza Express is seeking to put celebrations back on the menu this January. With this in mind, the brand is giving 50% off pizza to Pizza Express Club members until the end of January, to help with the post-Christmas purse strings.

That’s not all. the brand is going one further for those who may have fallen victim to the post-festive slump in the past with 31 free celebratory meals up for grabs via its Instagram page.

The deal isn't restricted to club members either with 25% off to non-Club members.

Diners can choose from any of the pizzerias Classic, Calabrese, Calzone, Leggier or Romana pizzas, to tuck in to at a discounted rate, for a limited time only.

Customers can get the additional discount by signing up to the Pizza Express, which is simply done by downloading the Pizza Express Club app. 

Those who join to unlock the deal will also be able to enjoy Dough Balls upon signing up, a free child’s meal and more.

The deal is available seven days per week with no minimum spend, although just one deal is available per member per day.

Newcastle is home to two Pizza Express restaurants. These can be found on Osborne Road in Jesmond and in Eldon Square.
