Police appeal to locate wanted Newcastle man

They are asking the public to come forward with information.

Police are appealing for the public’s help in their search for wanted Newcastle man Luther Ormston. Officers are wanting to speak to Ormston, 25 in connection with a number of offences including assault and criminal damage.

It is believed that Ormston who has links to North Tyneside and Northumberland knows he is wanted and is actively trying to evade arrest. Searches have been carried out on a number of associate addresses in a bid to locate him.

Now, police are appealing for the public to come forward with information. Police believe Ormston may be using friends or associates in a bid to law low, therefore are asking for anybody who think they have seen him or know where he may be residing to come forward. It is a criminal offence to harbour a wanted fugitive, and could lead to imprisonment.
