Popular Tyneside brewery to host Christmas market in support of the West End Food Bank

Anarchy Brewery, based in Heaton, has revealed that it will host a Christmas market in support of Newcastle’s West End Foodbank.
Foodies, music lovers and Christmas shoppers are urged to head along to the free event on Friday, December 13, from 5pm until 11pm.

Hide AdWith around 20 stallholders signed up to take part, the market aims to celebrate the very best of Tyneside produce, crafts and entertainment.
Dot Bagel, Big Fat Donut Company, artisan cheese maker Tyne Chease and Balefire Sauce, renowned among food lovers for its hot sauce are all among the market’s stallholders.
There will also be a range of bakes from The Little Cakery By The Sea, scotch eggs from The Yolker and vegan pasties and pastries from Smashin Pasties, along with loose tea from Love Leaf Tea.
Crafts will be on offer from crochet and macramé experts, Hookd in Heaton, candles from Hot Wax and jewellery from Rat Salad, while artists The Little Wilderness and Holly Melissa will also be showcasing their work.

Hide AdStix Studio will be selling art and accessories for the home, as will Bianco Perry while Lilac and Thyme’s skincare, perfumes and cosmetics will be on sale along with candles and gifts from Witchy Woman.
Plantopia will be selling a variety of plants, alternative clothing is on offer at No Kind Of Home and Anarchy will also have a stall selling its beer gift sets and its own range of branded t-shirts and merchandise.
Rise DJ Anth Holder will provide live music for the event, which is child and dog friendly, with street food vendors The Big Banh and Lucca Pizza Co. providing a range of dishes.
Scott Nendick, Taproom Manager at Anarchy Brewery, has expressed his pride at being able to host the Christmas market to showcase the best that Tyneside has to offer.

“So, whether you’re looking for some great food, want to snap up some really unusual gifts that you can’t get on the high street or if you just want a fun night out in a fantastic, family friendly environment, then I’d urge you to come along and celebrate and support small, local businesses.”
All the vendors at the Christmas market have agreed to donate a percentage of their profits from the event to the West End Foodbank and made donations in lieu of a stall fee.
There will also be a collection point for visitors to the market to drop off donations for the foodbank.
