After a successful launch earlier this month (December 8), retro arcade bar Four Quarters has now announced that it will be hosting a free New Year’s Eve party for the residents of Newcastle.

The event will have a stellar line-up of DJ’s bringing in the New Year with throwback tunes from 80s synth to 90s rave classics, as well as dance anthems across the decades to get party-goers in the festive mood.

DJs on the line-up include Spectra, Effkay and AEMS, who will bring non-stop anthems to the nostalgic Newcastle city centre bar, located on Dean Street, from 9am until 3am. Effkay will kick off the event with the 80s tunes, before Spectra with a collection of 90s rave classics. The night will end with AEMS bringing in the new year with well-loved popular dance tracks.

Four Quarters is a nostalgic haven, with a huge range of arcade games and classic consoles, and for those seeking a blast from the past it will be the perfect New Year’s event.

Alongside games and dance tunes, party-goers can expect themed cocktails, craft beer and pizza to enjoy on the night.

The fun games to enjoy span across four decades, from the 1970s until the mid-2000s, including popular classics such as Pac-Man and Time Crisis 2. Consoles available to play include the Megadrive, N64 and PS2.
