'Reunited?' - Wor Flags tease intriguing Newcastle United pre-match display
Newcastle United fan group Wor Flags announced themselves to the world this season with their remarkable Champions League displays.
Of course, Magpies’ followers know all too well just how special the supporter-funded outfit can make the pre-match build-up and player walk out at St James’ Park. They’ve been doing it loud and proud - and unrivalled in the Premier League - for the best part of a decade now.

Taking to social media, the group posted a picture of Brazilian duo Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes, side-by-side, from the club’s emphatic win down at Norwich City back in late 2021/22.
Pictured, as per below, is Guimaraes, sporting a black and white jester hat and a Brazil flag, alongside his good friend and teammate Joelinton.
Now, what the display is will remain under wraps until everyone arrives at the stadium - but it hasn’t stopped people speculating about what it may mean.

Hide AdJoelinton, of course, has just penned a new deal with the Magpies’ to keep him at the club, while pal Guimaraes is subject to exit rumours after a release clause in his Newcastle deal was confirmed by head coach Eddie Howe.
Replying to the post, fans had their say on what they hope the display captures.
@Caz8maw: “Hope it does have a Brazilian theme. Wor Bruno looks a bit down in a photo he posted tonight.”
@AJN1517: “Fantastic job as always, well done.”
@adamrylandhall: “J7 & BG39 reunited?! 👀👀.”
@Al_inDK: “We need to love bomb Bruno.”
While Guimaraes is expected to start in the centre of midfield for the Magpies, who are looking to get back to winning ways after a disappointing loss at Crystal Palace in the week, Joelinton is still recovering from an injury which has kept him out of action since January.
