Royal Shakespeare Company to perform show in Newcastle
and live on Freeview channel 276
Royal Shakespeare Company, which are also known as the RSC, are based in the home of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, but will be heading to Newcastle to perform a show.
RSC exclusively performs Shakespeare’s plays and will be performing a production of Julius Caesar at one of Newcastle’s top theatre venues, Newcastle Theatre Royal.

Hide AdThe show will be performing between the dates of Tuesday, May 9 and Saturday, May 13 at 7.30pm. Matinee performances will take place on Thursday and Saturday at 2pm.
There will also be a BSL (British Sign Language) performance for RSC’s Julius Caesar on Friday, May 12 at 7.30pm. An audio described and captioned performance, which will also include a pre-show touch tour will take place on Saturday, May 13 at the matinee performance at 2pm.
Booking is now available via the Newcastle Theatre Royal website. Ticket prices start from £15, and increase depending on seat location within the theatre venue.
The theatre production will tell the story of the former Roman dictator, and his power. The political thriller is directed by award-winning director Atri Banerjee and stars Thalissa Teixeira and Kelly Gough in lead roles.

Hide AdNewcastle Theatre Royal announced the RSC show via their mailing lists and social media pages, which they described as “not to be missed”.
RSC’s Julius Caesar will be embarking on a UK tour, with Newcastle being their fourth city to arrive in. Other locations they will be performing in include Canterbury, Truro, Bradford, Blackpool, Nottingham, Norwich, York and Salford.
