Sam Fender attends exclusive Elton John dinner party

North Shields born Sam Fender has absolutely sky-rocketed to fame since his debut in 2018. The Seventeen Going Under singer arrived in the music scene only a few years ago, but has achieved so much in such a short space of time.

He is now a multi-award winner (including the win of two BRIT awards and two NME awards), has embarked on successful tours around the world, and is now being billed as a headline act for various festivals.

Now, Fender is rubbing shoulders with legends in the music industry, attending an exclusive dinner party at the home of Elton John.

Other celebrity guests included Dua Lipa, Netflix’s Heartstopper actors Kit Connor, Sebastian Croft and William Gao, Scissor Sisters’ frontman Jake Shears and American music producer Andrew Watt.

An image of the group was posted to Instagram by Elton John and husband David Furnish, and was captioned: “Epic dinner” alongside a rocket emoji and a plate emoji.

In the image, Fender can be seen wearing a red and blue checked shirt, standing in the middle of Andrew Watt and William Gao, just behind Dua Lipa.

The post has currently racked up over 256 thousand likes, and is continuously growing. Fans took to the comments, to share their opinions on the photo. One person wrote: “Sam Fender with the cast of Heartstopper and Dua Lipa? This is a fever dream.” Another wrote: “This is a squad I wasn’t expecting!”

The celebrities who attended posted thank you messages to Elton John and David Furnish, however Fender is yet to post anything to his own socials.
