As well as visitors being able to shop beautiful vintage pieces, they will also be able to grab a slice of cake or two! At the event, there will also be Lou Lou’s Tea Party, provided by No19 Afternoon Tea, where homemade cakes and other treats will be available to shoppers.

Lou Lou’s are tagging #secondhandseptember across social media, a campaign created by Oxfam. The campaign encourages fashion-lovers to buy second hand rather than brand-new. Shopping responsibly, ethically and sustainably is better for the environment, and the campaign has seen great success since it started in 2019.

Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair is also looking out for enthusiastic helpers for the event. It is a paid opportunity, and you can apply by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “NEWCASTLE Staff”. You must be over the age of 18 to apply.

The event will be held at the Newcastle Civic Centre. Doors to the event open at 10am.

You can buy advanced tickets now for £2.50 via Eventbrite, or pay on the door.
