Britain’s leading stag and hen do company, Last Night of Freedom, which is based in the North East have launched a ‘solo stag do’, to help combat loneliness in men.

The unique experience will consist of a group of men, previously unknown to one another,  heading off for a weekend of partying in Newcastle.

Last Night of Freedom, who created the concept, said the main aim of the idea is to help men across the UK to form friendships and potentially “bring a new best man” into their lives.

Matt Mavir, Managing Director of Last Night of Freedom, said: “We have organised over 45,000 stag and hen weekends, making lifelong memories for friendship groups.

“However, it is becoming increasingly obvious that there’s a huge section of the public who have never had the chance to make those memories.

“At their core, stag weekends are about inclusivity. They are about brotherhood, togetherness, and friendship and this is a way we can open the stag experience up to more people whilst potentially giving people’s mental health and confidence a real boost.”

Mavir explained that they also came up with the concept for those who have never been on a stag do before, who wanted to tick the event off their bucket list.

The event will cost £349, and those who sign up will party in Newcastle with eleven strangers, take part in various bonding activities, and will stay in a party pad located in the Bigg Market.

The men will take on the same roles as a normal stag party, with one participant as the best man and another as the groom.
