South Shields musician Sonny Tennet has announced that he will be embarking on a UK tour in March.
Sonny, whose real name is Stevie, appeared on The X Factor back in 2014 at only 15 years old. In his audition in front of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl and Mel B, he sang I Won’t Let You Go by James Morrison.

Now, nine years later, Sonny is 23-years-old. He now has 375.4K followers on TikTok, where he posts videos of himself singing and playing guitar. His covers on TikTok have racked up millions of views and comments.
Sonny is also a verified artist on Spotify, where he releases original songs. His latest release Better The Devil was released in November of last year. He released his debut album in 2017 named Hopeless Romance.
Sonny announced on his social media platforms that he will be going on a four date UK tour in March of this year. The first date of the tour is March 15, with Sonny arriving in London’s Courtyard Theatre. He will then perform in Manchester on March 16 before arriving in his home city of Newcastle.

Sonny will perform at The Cluny in Newcastle on March 19. His final date will be on March 20 and will take place in Leeds.
Sonny will be joined by London-based singer Cristina Hart on tour. Cristina is also 24-years-old and has been releasing her own music since 2020. Her latest single, Never Be Her was released in September 2022.
