The eagerly-awaited opening of St. James’ Stack takes place in Newcastle this week.

The city has been without the pop up brand since May 2022 when the hugely popular site on Pilgrim Street was closed to make way for office space.

From opening times to food and drink options as well as much more, this is everything you may need to know about the new St James Park Stack site as it opens its doors.

When does the new Newcastle Stack at St James Park open?

The site will open its doors for the first time on Thursday, August 8, the day before the Sela Weekender event at St James Park.

What are the opening times for Newcastlr Stack at St James Park?

Yolo Coffee and Kitchen will be open from 8am until 8pm, while the rest of the venue will be open from 10am until midnight daily.

What food is on offer at St James Park Stack?

The food vendors announced to be at the site from opening day are:

  • Acropolis - Greek street food
  • Davey’s Mexicano
  • Holy Duck
  • Zza Pizzeria
  • Texas Smoker
  • Tip Top - Asian street food
  • Soju and Gogi - Korean street food
  • Yolo Coffee and Kitchen
  • Ok Please - Indian Street food

Are away fans welcome on matchdays?

Unfortunatly not. On Newcastle United matchdays St. James’ Stack will be a fanzone for home supporters only.

Is there a dress code?

The team bohind the site have said a smart casual look is the dress code for Stack. Sportwear is acceptable on match days but may not be considered suitable at other times. Newcastle United shirts are welcome and no fancy dress is allowed whatsoever.

Do you need to book tables in advance?

Although some events may be all-ticket in the future, no tickets or bookings are needed for general day to day use of the site.
