The current reigning queen of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK will be heading to Newcastle this summer to perform a solo show.
30-year-old Danny Beard, from Liverpool competed on the 2022 series of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, which aired on BBC Three and BBCiPlayer in September of last year.

Hide AdThroughout the series, Danny Beard showed their unique talent and creativity, and went on to win the show, beating Cheddar Gorgeous to the top spot.
The cast of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK series four embarked on a national tour in April and May of this year, performing at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall on Thursday, May 4.
Now, the winner of the most recent series will be performing their own solo show, as Danny Beard will head to Newcastle University’s Northern Stage this August.
The incredibly talented Danny Beard, who also appeared on the 2016 series of Britain’s Got Talent, singing the song Sweet Transvestite from The Rocky Horror Picture Show in their audition, will be accompanied by a live band on the tour - which is set to be packed with comedy, music and amazing costumes.

Hide AdDanny Beard made history with their Drag Race appearance, as they were the first bearded queen to compete on the UK version of the show, and the first to win the global Drag Race franchise.
