Strictly Come Dancing, the huge BBC show is currently working its way across the country to entertain arenas throughout the UK and it isn't long before Newcastle's Utilita Arena will be hosting the tour.

The tour will be hitting the North East for two shows over two nights on Wednesday, January 24 and Thursday, January 25.

Are tickets still available for the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour in Newcastle?

Tickets remain available for both days, although more options are available for the Thursday show.

Prices start at £42.50 and are available through the Ticketmaster website.

The venue website claims doors for both events will open at 6pm with the show starting at 7:30pm.

Who will be dancing on the Strictly Come Dancing UK tour?

Actor and model Bobby Brazier will be dancing with Dianne Buswell while tennis champion and presenter Annabel Croft is set to perform with tour partner Graziano Di Prima.

Journalist and broadcaster Krishnan Guru-Murthy is set to dance with Jowita Przystal and broadcaster and presenter Angela Scanlon is paired with Carlos Gu.

They will join Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington and Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin.

The dancers will be joined by judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood who are returning to their judging seats and tour host, BBC Two’s Strictly - It Takes Two’s Janette Manrara will be presenting through the night.

Where to park at Newcastle's Utilita Arena

There are 600 official car parking places to the rear of the arena which can be reached either by Arena Way or Railway Terrace to the east.

If this car park is full, the arena recommends gig goes use the NCP car park next to the Arena, with its entrance on Redheugh Bridge Road.

The usual fee for events is £8.

Other car parks around the arena include Arena Square Car Park on Ord Street and the Times Square Car Park which can be accessed from Railway Street.

Alternatively, fans can get into Newcastle city centre by public transport. The arena is a short walk from Central Station.
