The 12 places where the most crime was reported in Newcastle city centre during June have been revealed by new figures.

The Home Office data, published on its www.police.uk website, covers Northumbria Police’s Newcastle Central area.

All incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations in June 2023.

There were 47 offences, including 20 for shoplifting, reported in or around this location in June 2023.
