The Hoppings 2024: Full list of artists performing at Newcastle’s biggest summer event
Europe’s largest travelling funfair, The Hoppings, is set to return to Newcastle’s Town Moor from Friday, June 21, until Sunday, June 30.
Its return to the North East will see it bring with it hundreds of rides, sideshows, family-friendly attractions and a variety of food and drink choices.

Hide AdOnce again, the event will also feature a host of musical entertainment - which will run every evening during the fair’s run in Newcastle.


There will be artists that cover every genre including rock, pop, indie and country, as the musicians will be performing covers of well-known tracks from over the last 50 years.
The sessions will run daily from 5pm to 7pm and from 7pm to 9pm, apart from Sunday, June 22, when the performers will appear from 2pm to 4pm, 4pm to 6pm and on the final Sunday (June 30) where there will be on session from 4pm to 6pm.
The full line-up of performers is as follows:
Friday, June 21
- 5pm to 7pm: Keddy Sowells.
- 7pm to 9pm: Joshua Abraham’s Band.
Saturday, June 22
- 5pm to 7pm: Tim and Tommy Duo.
- 7pm to 9pm: Ian Douglas Band.
Sunday, June 23
- 2pm to 4pm: Si Stephenson.
- 4pm to 6pm: Lottie Appleton.
Monday, June 24
- 5pm to 7pm: Remy.
- 7pm to 9pm: Jo McGarry.
Tuesday, June 25
- 5pm to 7pm: Connor Pattison.
- 7pm to 9pm: Glenn Lambie.
Wednesday, June 26

Ryan Crow, of Crow Events which organises The Hoppings, expressed his delight at bring back live music to the funfair after it proved to be popular in previous years.
He said: “It’s not only an added dimension to the whole event but it also gives a fantastic platform for local talent to showcase their musical skills.
