The Esk Valley Line
The Middlesbrough to Whitby line stops at Danby where you can explore the National Park Moors Centre. Travellers can also wander around the seaside town of Whitby and be awe-inspired staring at the North York Moors landscapes from the train. The East Coast Main Line
Well known as the line between London and Edinburgh, the line is hugely busy with tourists and workers heading in and out of the two capital cities.
However, if people take a look out their windows between Newcastle and Edinburgh, travellers will experience what we believe to the best coastline in the UK.

Hide AdAway from the coastline and slightly further south, views of Durham Cathedral are not to be missed when heading in and out of the city’s station perched on the side of a hill.
The Tyne Valley Railway
Opened in 1838, this line runs between Newcastle and Carlisle and provides easy access to Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site.
Travelling through rolling countryside the line follows the River Tyne for most of the journey with stops available at stunning Northumberland towns such as Wylam and Corbridge while Hexham is a larger town which has the feel of a community village.

The Bishop Line
Taking just 27 minutes travellers can enjoy a relaxing journey admiring the rich heritage and beautiful landscape along the way between Darlington and Bishop Auckland.
The Bishop Line is bursting with history, it follows the route of the historic Stockton and Darlington Railway, the first public passenger route still in use today as well as passing over Skerne Bridge, opened in 1825 it is the oldest railway bridge still being used by rail.
