The North East’s biggest Oktoberfest is set to run in Newcastle city centre from Friday, October 13, until Saturday, October 28, at Times Squares.
Visitors can expect an experience filled with beer, entertainment and authentic Bavarian culture.

Hide AdA traditional German marquee, adorned with blue and white checkered tablecloths, will be set up in Times Square to accommodate thousands of visiters every weekend.
Mike Hesketh, from Two Tribes Organisation who are hosting the event, has expressed his excitement ahead of the opening night next week.
He said: “We’re thrilled to unveil the incredible line-up of entertainment and amazing food vendors for Oktoberfest Newcastle 2023.
“It’s going to be an even bigger and more unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to see our guests enjoy every moment.

Hide Ad“And, of course, we’re especially excited to break some records this year – it’s all part of the Oktoberfest magic!”
Guests will be able to get involved in competitions such as sausage-eating and jug-carrying in an attempt to allow visitors to break Oktoberfest records.

The Brooklyn Brass Band, a seven-piece funk brass band from Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Oompah, an authentic German oompah band, are some of the groups that will be entertaining goers of Oktoberfest Newcastle 2023.

Hide AdReturning for 2023 is the Geordie Wurst Kitchen, which will offer Donner, chilli, and Geordie-Wurst options, including vegetarian and vegan versions too.
The event will be made up of nine sessions over three weekends in October, with the first Saturday afternoon session already sold out.
