The South to perform charity gig at St James’ Park
All proceeds will be donated to a Newcastle Food Bank.
The South, a group that includes members of The Beautiful South who had hits such as Perfect 10, A Little Time and Don’t Marry Her, will be performing a special charity gig.
The gig will be at the NUFC stadium, St James’ Park, with all ticket proceeds going to Newcastle West End Food Bank.
This will be The South’s second North East performance this year, as they performed at the This Is South Tyneside Festival, held at the Bents Park in South Shields, in July.
Former The Beautiful South lead singer Alison Wheeler is part of The South, and will be providing vocals alongside former saxophone player, Gaz Birtles.
The charity gig will be on September 30. Tickets can be purchased from Ticket Web, and start from £20.
