The trailer for BBC’s Angels of The North has just dropped

The show will be returning to our screens for series four

BBC Three reality series Angels of the North is back for series four this autumn and the trailer has just dropped.

The show focuses on the personal lives and professional careers of various young business owners and people in the North East. It has proven to be a huge success so far, especially when the series became available to watch as a boxset on BBC iPlayer.

The show, which first began in 2019, focused solely on Gateshead hair extension ‘super’ salon Longlox, the owner Sammyjo Pearson and her staff members. In series two, viewers were able to have an insight into how the coronavirus pandemic affected local businesses, as Sammyjo had to close the Longlox doors for the lockdown period.

When the show returned for series three, it welcomed new cast members. The series was presented as Series 3: Big Tyne, and expanded its focus to include more local businesses.

Pure Ink 3, a tattoo parlour in Newcastle was one of the new additions, and the show covered the lives of owner Shane Guttridge and his sister and co-worker Jade. ABC Boxing Club, located in Bilton Hall Community Centre in Jarrow was also featured in the new season, linking back to Longlox as one of the members of the club Ewan, is in a relationship with Longlox trainee stylist and hair extensionist Kallie.

In the trailer, we see Sammyjo saying that she is the best version of herself and is ready to take on the world!

Series four will be available to watch on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer on Monday October 17.
