Tom Grennan announced as headline act for Newcastle festival

A brand-new festival is set to take place in Newcastle next year, with chart-topper Tom Grennan taking to the stage as a headline act.
In The Park Festival, will be held at Newcastle’s Leazes Park on Friday, May 3 and Sunday, May 5, which is a Bank Holiday weekend.
The brand-new event is a welcome addition to the North East’s growing festival scene, and is sure to be a hit with festival goers and music fans.
In The Park Festival have announced their first headline act, UK singer songwriter Tom Grennan, who will perform on the Friday show.
28-year-old Tom Grennan shot to fame after featuring on Chase and Status’ 2016 track, All Goes Wrong. He then went on to forge his own music career, with commercially successful singles, such as Little Bit of Love released in 2021, and Remind Me which was released in 2022.

Tom has also continued to collaborate with other best-selling artists including Joel Corry, Ella Henderson, Calvin Harris, Bugzy Malone and KSI.
Tom’s debut album Lightning Matches, which was released in 2018, made it to number four on the Official Charts UK, and his following albums, Evening Road, released in 2021, and What If’s & Maybes, released in 2023, shot straight to the top at number one.
Over the past few years, Tom has established himself as one of the best UK artists, accumulating over 1.3 billion streams and over nine million monthly listeners on Spotify, as well as being nominated for prestigious awards such as The BRITS and Ivor Novello.
The rest of the line-up is still under wraps, which will include supporting artists and a headline act for Sunday’s show.
The event will begin at 4pm and will end at 10.30pm. Festival goers must be aged 16 and over, with under 18s to be accompanied by an adult.
