A North Tyneside site is getting ready for Christmas by inviting santa to the region for three weekends.

The man in red will make appearances every Saturday and Sunday between the start of December and Christmas Day at Tynemouth Park.

Organisers are promising personalised meet and greet experiences with the one and only Santa Claus in his magical wooden grotto located within the site’s Maze.

Each child will receive a special keepsake gift from Santa and certificate in addition to a hot chocolate and gingerbread man.

The site will also include an on site greenhouse cafe serving festive food and drink.

Tickets can be purchaed online for each of the six dates, which will run from Saturday, December 7 until Sunday, December 22.

These tickets cost £20 per child and can be picked up through the venue’s website.
