Vicky Pattison and her new fiance Ercan Ramadan, are taking part in a charity trek - Trek26, around Stonehenge, to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Vicky took to Instagram to explain her reasons behind taking part. She explained that she lost her grandad to the condition in February of this year, and how it made her more determined to do more to help those suffering and their loved ones.

Trek26 events are a series of 13 and 26 mile walks, all taking place in beautiful locations across the UK. This autumn, the Alzheimer’s Society will also be organising 25 Memory Walks across the UK- a shorter version of Trek26. Money raised from these events will help to fund the work of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Vicky appeared on daytime ITV show, Loose Women earlier this week, to discuss the event and what it means to her. While on the show she also discussed her recent engagement to Ercan, her documentary with her father on their alcohol issues and her future plans to have children.

This isn’t the first time this year that Vicky has taken part in a challenge for charity, as she competed in a celebrity gymnastics challenge for Sport Relief on BBC, in August.
