Wallsend pub welcomes customers back after extensive three-week refurbishment

The Powder Monkey located on Wiltshire Drive in Wallsend has reopened its doors after an extensive three-week refurbishment.
The pub has had a complete transformation and modernisation, which includes a brand-new bar area, new soft furnishings, and improved dining area. The conservatory area of The Powder Monkey is available to book for special events.

Hide AdBut the interior of the pub isn’t the only new addition to The Powder Monkey, as they have introduced a brand-new menu alongside the refurbishment.
The food menu includes the brand-new additions The Goodfella Burger, Blackened Salmon, Smoke House Platter and T Bone Steak.
The family friendly pub airs live sporting events on their TV screens, and also hosts a popular pub quiz every Thursday evening at 8pm. They also host their own ‘Kids Club’ which is held every Sunday from 10am to 12pm.
General Manager of The Powder Monkey, Allyson Dixon said: “We’re thrilled to reveal the Powder Monkey’s new look to our guests. Whether you’re looking for a family meal out or somewhere to enjoy the sport with a pint, our pub is ready to welcome guests, both new and old, to enjoy our brand-new look — but with the same sizzle it’s always had.”
