Northern Lights Newcastle, based in Leazes Park, has provided the perfect backdrop for an engagement as one lucky couple found out.
When visiting the festive light trail at the weekend, Molly, who works for REGEN Group as a customer experience coordinator, took the opportunity to propose to Lauren, who works for Home Group as a customer service advisor.

A video of the magically moment captured Molly going down on one knee on Northern Lights Newcastle’s Rainbow Road.
Judging by Lauren’s surprised reaction, she definitely wasn’t expecting it as passers-by wished them congratulations.
Northern Lights Newcastle will remain in Newcastle city centre’s Leazes Park for the rest of the 2024 festive period - with the final day on December 31.
