Watch as Newcastle residents tell us about their favourite places to eat and drink in the city

There are plenty of great places to eat and drink in Newcastle, to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. 

We took to the city centre, to ask residents where their favourite food and drink spots are in Newcastle. 

Jonathan explained that he likes to drink at The Town Mouse located at St Mary’s Place, due to the real ale that they sell. However, he also said enjoys a visit to Wetherspoons. 

John, who was out with his wife, explained that he enjoyed visiting the Northern Stage and the Tyneside Cinema for something to eat. 

Finally, Andy who has lived in the city for four years after moving from Hertfordshire, explained that he thinks there are many great food and drink places to visit, and he is still yet to discover a favourite.
