WATCH: Staying safe around bonfires & fireworks with Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue

Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue have this message for anyone using fireworks or attending a bonfire.

The fire service have already been  attacked with fireworks whilst they have been out of calls in the lead up to Bonfire Night and they are still urging people to be careful when they are using fireworks and lighting bonfires.

We spoke to the fire service about their advice for celebrating this bonfire night.
