Here’s a run down of what’s in store for the region on the weather front...

It looks like we will be having a sunny start to the day across most of the region with temperatures reaching highs of 11 degrees. Middlesbrough will be lower at nine degrees but there will be a very low chance of rain through the North East.

Looking into the weekend it will continue to be sunny across the region with a very low chance of rain as well. Temperatures are at a high of 12 degrees in Durham but will be slightly lower at 10 degrees across most of the region.

Taking a look at the five-day forecast it will start out sunny at the end of the week and that will continue into the weekend. The low chance of rain will continue well into the weekend as well but there could be some cloud on Sunday. Next week temperatures will drop down to five degrees and we could see some sunshine behind those clouds.
