The UK is known for its weather being somewhat unpredictable at best, so often it’s hard to plan ahead for any events that might be affected by the weather.

This is what the Met Office predicts the weather forecast will look like for Newcastle over the rest of the week.

On Thursday, Newcastle is set to be a generally cloudy day, although residents can look forward to a few breaks that might give way to some brighter spells.

Many parts of Newcastle will be dry, although some drizzle can be expected continuing into the northeast, with the odd light shower possible elsewhere as well.

Maximum temperatures of 17C and low temperatures of 13C.

Sunrise at 5:48am and sunset at 8:31pm.

Friday weather

Friday is looking like it’s going to be a cloudy day all around, changing into overcast skies as the day moves forward.

Maximum temperatures of 18C and low temperatures of 15C.

Sunrise at 5:50am and sunset at 8:29pm.

Saturday weather

While the week prior has remained pretty dry, showers are to be expected on Saturday.

The met office expects light rain to kick off at 7pm, lasting well into the night and Sunday morning.

Maximum temperatures of 20C and low temperatures of 15C.

Sunrise at 5:51am and sunset at 8:27pm.

Sunday weather

Sunday will start with the heavy rain stemming from Saturdays showers. These heavy showers will extend into the afternoon, turning into light showers in the evening before wrapping up at around 8pm.

From then, it will continue to be cloudy.

Maximum temperatures of 18C and low temperatures of 15C.

Sunrise at 5:53am and sunset at 8:24pm.

Monday weather

Monday will start cloudy changing to sunny intervals by late morning, with full sunshine by 7pm.

Maximum temperatures of 18C and low temperatures of 13C.

Sunrise at 5:55am and sunset at 8:22pm.
