Loosefest kicks off on Saturday at midday, although the ground is expected to be wet following heavy rain throughout the morning of Saturday, August 5.

This rain is expected to continue into the afternoon but the Met Office believe it will stop by 4pm, leaving cloudy but dry conditions for fans to enjoy the remainder of the festival’s first day.

Showers are possible into the night but these are unlikely to impact the event too much. Conditions will be cold for the time of year, however. Highs of 13°C will run from the early morning into the night.

Temperatures are expected to get higher on Sunday, August 6 with highs of 16°C expected in the early afternoon, colling to 14°C for the headline sets on the second day of the event.

Following the rainy weather the previous day, conditions may be very muddy but no further rain is expected on Sunday. Fans can even expect occasional clear skies.
