Hopes of sparkly skies might be dashed this weekend according to the Met Office forecast for Newcastle.

Unfortunately, it is not looking good for Northern areas with more miserable weather on the way.

The Met Office website still has Flood Warnings issued by the Environment Agency throughout the whole of England.

Friday

Newcastle skies set to be cloudy as the week draws to a close. Light rain will also follow and be scattered throughout many regions.

Saturday

The weekend is set to be the same with more clouds and rain throughout the day, and stronger winds making their way over in a westerly direction.

Sunday

Temperatures are set to drop even more as the weekend comes to a close. However, the region will be mostly dry with northwesterly winds growing stronger throughout the day.
