The plot of both the movie and the musical is described as “dark comedy”, surrounding a clique of girls in a high school setting and two outcasts, Veronica Sawyer and Jason ‘JD’ Dean.

Presented by Kaleidoscope Entertainment, the one night only screening of Heathers: The Musical will be shown across four different cinemas in the North East - Everyman Newcastle, Vue Gateshead, Odeon Metrocentre and The Customs House in South Shields.

Director of the UK production of Heathers: The Musical, Andy Fickman said: “Directing Heathers The Musical has been a career high for me. So when we got a chance to film the Stage Capture at our beloved theatre in London where it all began - The Other Palace - that was an even bigger high - and thanks to our partners at Bill Kenwright Studios, Village Roadshow and now Kaleidoscope we get a chance to share that the magic at cinemas all across the UK - I can’t stop smiling and I hope audiences feel the same way!”

The screenings across the cinemas will take place on Tuesday, March 28.  To book tickets please visit Heathers: The Musical website.
