Hide AdAnt and Dec met as youngsters on the set of Newcastle-based children’s drama Byker Grove, and were ultimately a huge hit with the viewers of the show.
Byker Grove helped to skyrocket Ant and Dec’s career, and they are now the most successful people to come from the series.
At the beginning of their career, they released music as their Byker Grove characters and as themselves, before realising their true talent and passion was in television presenting.
They are now mostly known for presenting I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here, Britain’s Got Talent and their own variety show, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, among other shows.
